We welcome CVs from legal bookkeepers / legal cashiers with a minimum 6 months experience in legal bookkeeping throughout the year.
We have legal cashier vacancies predominately in London, because our client base is mainly in London and the surrounding counties – Surrey, Kent & Middlesex. So, please only send us your CV to jobs@boogles.org if you are willing to travel to / in and around these areas, as we work on site.
The way our legal cashier jobs are, we don't have weekend work or evening work, so please don't send us in your CV if that is your only availability.
We are looking for friendly, trustworthy, capable, efficient cashiers who can pick things up quickly. If you get flustered easily, or are rather absent-minded, then this isn’t the place for you. We need people who can work with all kinds of people. This is a people-business. And our service is all about people.
Knowledge of at least one
legal bookkeeping software will be helpful, but we will give you training in
the one we use.
All cashiers will receive
some training, but we will test you in the interview, to understand your
current level of competence.

Boogles Legals staff are employed by us. They get 28 days paid holiday per annum and will receive regular training, help, guidance and support on all client jobs. We don’t throw you in at the deep end. We’re working together as a team, every step of the way.

Apprentice Legal Cashiers

INTAKE 1
Starts Monday 27th February 2012
17 week programme - finishes: Friday 29th June 2012.
INTAKE 2
19 week programme - finishes: Friday 23rd Nov 2012.
Legal bookkeepers do a little bit of everything: accounts, purchase ledger, legal cashier, billing clerk, revenue controller, credit controller, systems analyst.
The apprentice programme involves:
- Learning solicitors accounts rules
- Learning a legal bookkeeping software or 2
- Hands-on practical assignments
It's a 2 days per week [2 weekdays] committment, for the duration of the programme. Every Tuesday needs to be kept free for training, and one other day [of your choice].
You need to have 6 months minimum 'normal' bookkeeping experience, and you will be tested on this. You also need to have a laptop.
The legal apprenticeship training is free. There is no payment made by you to us for the training, or by us to you for the work experience. However there is a contract a sign - and like any training assignment - we expect you to be available for the duration. Failure to do so, will render a training fee payable by the apprentice.
